Doctor of Business Administration
The highest academic credential for senior executives who seek to bridge the gap between theory and practice through original research.
Leadership Through Research
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Seine Business School is designed for senior executives, entrepreneurs, and experienced professionals who wish to make an original contribution to business knowledge while continuing their professional careers.
Unlike a traditional PhD, which prepares candidates for academic careers, the DBA is a professional doctorate that applies rigorous research methodology to solve real-world business problems. Candidates develop the ability to think critically, analyse complex challenges, and produce actionable insights grounded in evidence.
Our DBA cohorts are deliberately small (12–15 candidates) and intensely collaborative, with participants drawn from diverse industries and geographies. The program combines structured taught modules with independent research, culminating in a doctoral thesis defended before an expert jury.
