Visa & Immigration

Student Visa Guide

Non-EU/EEA students typically require a long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) to study in France. Here is the general process:

Step 1: Receive Your Offer

Accept your place at SBS and pay the enrollment deposit. We issue your official acceptance letter.

Step 2: Campus France Registration

Register on the Études en France platform (required for most countries). Our team guides you through the process.

Step 3: Visa Application

Apply for your VLS-TS student visa at the French consulate in your home country. Processing typically takes 2–6 weeks.

Step 4: Arrival in Paris

Attend our Welcome Week, complete your residence permit validation online, and begin your studies.

Work Rights
International students can work up to 964 hours/year (approximately 20 hours/week) during studies.
Post-Study Work Visa
Graduates of Master's and MBA programs can apply for a 2-year post-study work permit (APS) to seek employment in France.
Health Insurance
All students in France are covered by the national health system. Supplementary insurance is affordable (€20–50/month).
Housing Benefits
International students are eligible for CAF housing assistance, which can reduce rent by €100–200/month.
